What do you do if you see errors when validating your structured data? This isn’t something you need to worry about. Let me explain why this is happening and how Google will handle these errors.
If you see errors on your structured data, the most likely reason is that your theme is causing the errors.
If you click on the individual errors, you’ll notice that it is HTML and you can see it’s coming from within your theme.
For now I would say that it is safe to ignore it. Google will not penalize you if you have improperly formatted structured data.
Why are you seeing an error on your pricing?
The theme your using on your Shopify store is causing an error.
Why? Your theme is mishandling the pricing by placing a dollar sign $ and this is causing an error.
Luckily, errors are very common and this isn’t something you need to worry about.
Google is smart enough to use the most accurate version of your structured data (the correct version supplied by our app) so you will be okay.
How can I fix these errors?
If you decide that you do want to fix these errors, you’ll need to hire a programmer to fix your theme so that it doesn’t interfere with the structured data.
